Abstract
Chapter 21 provides an approach tothe forensic evaluation of juvenile sexual offenders. It discusses research on juvenile sexual offences and actuarial assessment, the clinical and forensic context of the evaluation, the foundations and procedure for adequate forensic assessment, factors for structured clinical assessment, factors in assessing degree of containment required, factors to weigh in making intervention recommendations, and special issues in reporting results of juvenile sexual offender evaluations.
